Android Oreo 8.1.0 Now Available For Infinix Note 4 Via OTA Update

After so much anticipation, Infinix Mobile has begun the roll out of the stable Android Oreo OS 8.1.0 update for Infinix Note 4 and Note 4 Pro here in Nigeria. If you recall, Infinix Mobile launched the two devices in July last year with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and now, a new operating system is available for download via OTA update.

If you are interested in updating your Infinix Note 4 and Note 4 Pro OS to latest Android Oreo 8.1.0, all you just need to do is to go to your Phone Settings > About Phone > System update and check for the latest update or click on System update at the App menu. The update is around 1635.68MB which translate to 1.6GB while the upgrading package size is around 1.8GB but Infinix says you need to free up to 2GB internal storage before you start downloading.

Optimized issue:
1. Optimized the effect and display of camera
2. Optimized the display of theme wallpaper
3. Optimized the endurance of battery
4. Optimized the layout of desktop

Added Functions:
1. Added new message notifications board
2. Added eyes protection mode
3. updated the function of singlehanded mode
4. added new mode of PIP (Picture in Picture)
5. Added DUO video call
6. Updated GMS patch

After the Oreo update, the smartphones will have picture-in-picture mode that lets users to two tasks simultaneously. So, for example, one can minimize a YouTube video while sending a text message or writing an email. Android Oreo has other features like including Background limits, installation of apps via APK, over 60 new emojis, notification dots, Wide-gamut color for apps, Snoozing individual notification, Adaptive icons, Keyboard navigation, WebView enhancements and much more.
