New Facebook feature to help you manage time spent on the App
Are you always on the internet, especially on Facebook? If you are conscious of the time spent on the App, Facebook is working on a feature that will show you how long you have spent on the mobile app. The feature is called “Your Time on Facebook”.
Company such as Apple with the iOS 12 and Google with Android P had earlier implemented this feature, that helps users with information about how users are spending their time on computers and smartphones. It will go as far as showing you how much time you’ve spent on Facebook each day over the last week, along with the average time spent on the site per day. You can also set a daily time limit as well as a link to manage your Facebook notifications.
“Your Time on Facebook” doesn’t have any way of categorizing how a user spends time on the app and whether the time spent is meaningful or not, but people who worry about the amount of time they spend on the app are still likely to find the minutes spent stats useful.
Information about when it will be available and to which users, that is yet to be confirmed.
