Google adds ‘propose a new time’ feature in Calendar
Google has of today added ‘Propose a new time’ feature to calendar application that makes it easier for users to schedule meetings. With the new update, a guest invited for a meeting can now reschedule a new date for the meeting for the organizers to review.

The ‘Propose a new time’ feature is aimed at fostering better communication between the guests who are expected to attend a meeting and help reduces times wasted on rescheduling meeting and make meetings more productive.
Before when users get invited to a calendar event, they only get to respond saying Yes, No or Maybe but now with this new feature, you and other attendees can now respond by proposing a new time for the calendar event that works for everyone, once your calendar has been granted access on your phone and see other attendee availability.
With this new feature, a guest who is proposing a new time for an event would also get an option to include an optional message like reasons why you want the meeting to be rescheduled, to the organizer. According to Google, the new feature works across all domain is available on the web for now and the rollout for Google app would begin on August 13th.
