How to activate MTN Special Data Plan of ₦200 for 1GB, ₦1000 for 4GB

Unknown to some MTN users, MTN Special Data Plan is a new plan that was launched on MTN Special Deal Zone that comes with some mouth-watering offer and Special Data plans being at an extremely low price.
The downside of the MTN Special Data is that active users can’t activate the plan as it is only meant for inactive users and those that just retrieved their MTN lines.
For the inactive users and those that just retrieved their MTN lines, they will have access to a Welcome Back Bonus of; 2000% bonus on their first recharge of the month for next 3 months, they will also enjoy some special data bundles within the period.
How to Activate MTN Special Data Plan
There is no fuss about activating the plan, all you have to do is to look for an MTN SIM that hasn’t been active between 30 to 180 days or do a SIM swap if you cannot find your SIM.
Then activate the line by recharging a minimum of ₦100
After recharging the line you will be able to enjoy a bonus of 2000% on the first recharge of the month for the period of three (3) months, the breakdown is as follows;
(500% bonus for Voice calls & SMS to all networks in Nigeria and the 1500% for Data)
How to Subscribe For the MTN Special Data Plan
Dial *131*65# and choose your plan as shown below;
- 250MB for ₦100 (3 days validity)
- 1GB for ₦200 (7 days validity)
- 4GB for ₦1000 (30 days validity)
You can dial *131*65# to check your Welcome Back Special Data balance and select the balance option, or dial *131*4#.
