Apple launches iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR
Apple in a grand event unveiled the new set of iPhones, comprising of the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and the iPhone XR. All the devices are an upgrade to the iPhone X, with exciting new features and of case high price tags. Let’s now take a look at some of the features and specifications on the new iPhones.
The iPhone XS is similar to the iPhone X, only with some minor upgrade. It features the same design, 5.8″ OLED display and dimensions, but comes with upgraded internal components, like a new, ground-breaking A12 Bionic chipset. The iPhone XS sports a gold finish, covered in new glass, making it the most beautiful iPhone ever according to Apple.
iPhone XS Max
The iPhone Xs Max is the largest iPhone in history with an expansive 6.5” AMOLED screen. The bezels have dissolved, giving the screen a tall 19.5:9 aspect ratio and leaving behind a notch. The new screen has essentially the same width as the 5.5” panel on the iPhone 8 Plus, but the extra height accommodates additional content.
The iPhone XS and XS Max also feature an upgraded dual-camera with main 12 MP camera and a 12 MP telephoto camera for 2x optical zoom and Portrait mode photos. This means the same pixel size, but new camera sensors added. The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are both waterproof and can stay 2m under water for ten minutes.
The iPhones XS and XS Max Ships with dual sim support, through something called “dual sim dual standby”. It doesn’t work with two real Sim cards, though – just with Apple’s eSim support for the second Sim.
The iPhone XR unlike the other iPhones released is made from aluminum and glass, it also comes with an edge to edge screen similar to the iPhone X. The display is an LCD, Display and branded as the “Liquid Retina” display while the iPhone XS and XS Max have a super retina.
The Apple 3D touch is not present here, but it has “haptic feedback”, which basically means it will click if you hold your finger on a button for a while just like some old Android devices. It features one camera not two like the rest. Another notable difference is the battery life, which is better than the iPhone XS and XS Max.

iPhone XS -Starting from $999 – 370,000 NGN
