Leaked: Xiaomi Mi 9 Coming With 12GB RAM, In-Screen FingerPrint Sensor and 48MP Tripple Rear Camera
Xiaomi, one of the world’s top smartphone makers have been leaked to be working on a new flagship device known as Mi 9 Explorer. The device is said to be officially launched in the coming days and it is expected to feature 12GB of RAM, on-screen fingerprint sensor, corning gorilla glass, and Game Turbo.
Xiaomi Mi 9 is also leaked to have featured a 6.39 inch AMOLED display from Samsung with screen resolution equal to 1080p FHD +. It will offer a 103.8% NTSC color space coverage, a maximum brightness of 600nit and a declared contrast ratio of over 60,000: 1.
Under the hood, the Mi 9 is expected to be powered by 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile platform that includes an octa-core processor, clocks at 2.84 GHz and the first Xiaomi phone to use a triple rear camera set up.
Speaking of the camera department, the Mi 9 will feature a triple camera setup on its rear with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 as the main sensor. The waterdrop notch of the display is expected to house a 24-megapixel Sony IMX576 front-facing camera.
It is equipped with 20W rapid wireless charging which is higher than the 15W wireless fast charge used by the Huawei Mate 20 Pro
The Mi 9 is rumored to go for $517 and the Mi 9 Explorer could be priced at $885.
