Next Android OS leaked “Android Q”
Google is said to be working on another Operating system called Android Q after the company launched its latest Android OS as Android Pie during 2018. The Android P (Pie) is the ninth edition of the Android OS and also the successor to the Android Oreo 8.0 that was launched around 2017.
The news flying about is that the next Android OS to come after Android Pie will likely be called Android Q as it was leaked on Geekbench.
As it was listed on Geekbench, a Google Pixel 2 device was seen running the next Android version “Android Q“. This simply shows that Google is already working on the Developer Preview for the Android OS “Android Q“. the leak is shown below as it was seen on Geekbench.
As shown above, the device wasn’t specified but the indications show the device to be running Android Q AOSP on ARM64 processor with the “walleye” codename which literally means Google Pixel 2.
However, isn’t this too early for Google to do as most smartphone brands are yet to get the recently released Android Pie but still let’s just wait till Google makes the preview official during this year’s Google I/O conference that is set to happen on May 7th.
