Facebook to launch its own Cryptocurrency “GlobalCoin” in 2020

Cryptocurrency is simply a virtual or digital currency with no bills to print or coins needed. It is a line of code (programming) with the value that can be purchased or sold for money.

Facebook is getting ready to join the Cryptocurrency world with the launch of its own digital currency named GlobalCoin.

According to a report, the GlobalCoin will be launched next year (2020), and Facebook said its digital coin will be easier to use and it will make financial transactions more affordable and secure.

The company is said to partner with banks and brokers to allow its users to change and transfer Western Union or international currencies into the GlobalCoin with lower transaction charges.

Will Facebook GlobalCoin be able to outshine other forms of Cryptocurrency available such as Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Bitcoin otherwise known as BTC which is the most popular and widely used Cryptocurrency till today.
