Lenovo partners Qualcomm to unveil Project Limitless: the first 5G Snapdragon 8cx laptop
Lenovo in collaboration with Qualcomm has announced the world’s first 5G laptop “Project Limitless”, which will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8cx platform at Computex 2019. Speaking of Computex 2019, it is an annual event where the latest and hottest world gaming tech, keyboards, headphones, CPUs, GPUs are been display.
The newly unveiled world first Windows 10 computer with a 5G network connectivity is part of Qualcomm’s “Always On, Always Connected” program which includes laptops based on Redmond’s home operating system designed to stay connected to the network, using mobile connectivity, while still ensuring low power consumption.
Project Limitless will benefit from the Snapdragon 8cx’s improved performance, battery life and connectivity compared to Snapdragon-powered laptops that have been previously released. So, that means battery life that lasts for days and super-fast mobile 5G internet that could transform how we use our PCs.
