A paid version of Firefox with VPN and cloud storage coming soon
A premium or let’s say a paid version of Firefox is coming soon. Firefox seems to be building a paid version of its namesake browser that’s aimed for an Autumn release. This was revealed by Mozilla CEO Chris Beard, who said a paid version of Firefox could include a free VPN and cloud storage.
This paid version of Firefox would be offerings users premium packages of the browser features including a cloud storage platform and a VPN services. This version of the browser is said to be coming in 4 month time from now which is October 2019 precisely, and a free version of the platform will also be available with some restrictions.
Opera on the other hand has already baked free VPN services into its browser without any form of premium offering. However, Mozilla seems to be coming with something different to the table to diversify its streams of income.
