Apple to boost revenue by launching four iPhones in 2020
According to a recent report from JPMorgan, Apple is considering to boost its sales by launching over four iPhones in 2020.
The Cupertino giant revealed that three iPhones would be unveiled with new OLED screens, with display sizes of 5.4-inch, 6.1-inch, and 6.7-inch and will support 5G network connectivity while the fourth iPhone could feature an iPhone 8-like design. This variant might lack 5G connectivity as well as OLED panel and likely have ToF camera.
With these four iPhone phones from Apple, the company is targeting to restore global sales growth with 195 million expected units to be shipped in 2020, up from the estimated 180 million in 2019.
Traditionally, Apple usually introduce their phones in September right in time for the holiday season, but we already know 2019 will see only three new devices with the unusual camera setup, but improved shooters overall.
The analysis from JPMorgan also revealed that Apple is going for the “value” market, meaning a phone with the size of the iPhone 8, but without the 5G modem and at a lower cost.
