If you are thinking of going into mobile photography then you think of getting your a Huawei Mate 30 Pro as the phone is now crowed the best camera phone in the market according to DXOMark.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro has climbed to the top of the DxOMark camera ranking, beating the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G (second) and Galaxy S10 5G (third on equal points with P30 Pro) in the overall score.
The still photo score of 131 is the highest yet and is what helped push the phone to the top. Well, the ranking is still lacking the new generation of iPhone ( 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max ), but for the moment DXOMark believes that Mate 30 Pro offers superior results to the competition.
The Mate series – as well as the smartphones of the P range – has always been (at least in the most recent generations) synonymous with photographic quality, the result of collaboration with Leica and the implementation of technologically advanced solutions, SuperSensing Triple Camera of the Mate 30 Pro included. Especially the 40MP wide-angle camera has raised the score: despite the equivalent 18mm is not the most extreme solution on the market (there are wider fields of view in circulation in the mobile sector), the large dimensions of the sensor (1 / 1.54 “), aperture (f / 1.8) and 3: 2 ratio.
DXOMark highlights, in particular, the excellent result achieved in the shots: 131, 4 points higher than in Galaxy Note 10+ 5G: texture and noise ” are perfectly balanced ” in any lighting condition. Also excellent exposure and colors, with a wide dynamic range that gives precise details even in high contrast images. The white balance has made a leap forward compared to P30 Pro ( “king of the standings” in March ), a smartphone that by the way tended to saturate the colors too much. In this regard, the squaring of the circle seems to have been found with Mate 30 Pro.
A saturation that returns, however, in night shots: despite this, in the dark, Mate 30 Pro is at its best, with the sound kept well at bay by both the optics and the AI. Speaking of artificial intelligence, the new AI-RAW algorithm helps to get more details with the telephoto lens than P30 Pro, although the optical zoom has gone from 5x of the previous model to the current 3x. The bokeh effect is also very good, as is the wide-angle camera (even if the field of view is not the widest on the market).
